Complex of Diagnostic Models of Reconfigurable Multioperational Transport Processes

A complex of diagnostic models is considered, focused on the control of the correctness of the implementation of transport technologies and the detection of defects in the corresponding multi-operational processes, taking into account their possible reconfigurations. Examples of spatio-temporal configurations of processes and a formal definition of configuration and reconfiguration based on the operational-event model are given. The set-theoretic and operator-schematic approaches to the construction of diagnostic models of processes are proposed. The diagnostic invariant of reconfigurable processes is substantiated on the basis of trigger functions of operations and resource-logical schemes in the form of bi-logical graphs. The main provisions and practical issues of organizing diagnostic systems for reconfigurable multi-operational transport processes are considered. The problems and prospects of creating diagnostic software based on the developed complex of diagnostic models are noted.

Infrastructure Gaps in the Socio-Economic Space of an Industrial Region

Transport infrastructure is a systemically important element of a territory’s socio-economic space. The article presents the method to identify infrastructure gaps through the prism of a comprehensive compliance assessment of the level of infrastructure development in a region with its transport activity. The method was tested on the example of Sverdlovsk region and its neighboring regions. The authors identified and classified infrastructure gaps, as well as estimated the potential of the transport system for leveling these gaps. The results showed that Sverdlovsk region does not have infrastructure gaps and has sufficient transport potential to maintain the stable integrity in the future.

Efficiency of Labor Resources use and Issues of Transport Supply and Demand Development in Large Cities and Agglomerations

The paper deals with the issue of meeting transport demand for the active and most numerous part of the population, which makes up the labor force in a large city and agglomeration. In accordance with this, the aim is to find a way to balance transport demand and supply using optimization and transport modeling methods. The concept of "transport demand" for this population group is disclosed. The topicality of this issue from the point of view of both labor economics and labor resources efficiency and from the point of view of creating a "livable city" is noted. The factors of transport demand and transport supply at the level of region and large agglomeration are considered and analyzed. The problem of transport supply and demand balance construction management for this group of population is highlighted. The system analysis of this problem is carried out, during which the most essential circumstances for the solution of existing problems are singled out, and the task of transport demand satisfaction by means of transport infrastructure rational organization, passenger traffic organization, use of digital services is formalized. The criterion for optimizing socio-economic efficiency is formulated as a concept which combines economic and social components. In the task set in the article, such criterion is minimization of the difference between transport demand and transport supply in a certain period of time. At the same time, the issues that arise in solving such problems using transport modelling methods are outlined.

Description of Sea Maneuvers Performed by a Group of Automatic Tugs Using the Flock Method

This article is devoted to the description of the algorithmization of some sea maneuvers, which are performed by a "flock" of azimuth automatic tugs. The described maneuvers consist in the implementation of escorting, draping, mooring and unmooring of a cargo ship. The article provides a mathematical, schematic description of sea maneuvers, taking into account the technical differences of automatic tugs that affect the performance of the described operations. The description consists in the substantiation of the distribution of force between the automatic tugs, depending on the maneuver being performed. The calculation of the parameters of the rudder propeller is given on the basis of the described maneuvers, which is one of the important elements of the developed azimuth automatic tugboat. Some coefficients, resistances of media and varieties of power of the rudder itself are introduced and described. The calculation is carried out subject to the interaction of the "flock" of automatic tugs with a merchant ship of the Afromax class.

Semantic Model of Intelligent Railway Crossing Safety Management System

Railroad crossings are the places where railroad tracks and roads intersect. Crossings are a high-risk area for both automobiles and railroads. The research shows that most of the accidents at railway crossings are caused by drivers. The purpose of this article is to study the possibility of building a knowledge base of an intelligent system to analyze the safety level of a railroad crossing. To achieve this goal, the prerequisites for the development of such a base were considered. It has been revealed that a large number of safety violations are recorded at crossings with an operator on duty. To date, there is no centralized system for fixing and analyzing such violations. Fixing violations at the crossings without an operator on duty at the moment is practically not conducted. The factors influencing the violations have been identified. On the basis of the factors the technology of constructing a knowledge base of the intelligent system was considered. This base can be used to analyze the level of safety at railway crossings and will allow combining the currently disparate information about the factors affecting the safety at the crossings. Application of such a database together with the information received from the police will allow predicting the development of the situation at each facility.

The paper deals with the problem of reducing the enterprises expenses by optimization of the quantity and structure in part of expenses that are not directly related to production activities. For the Russian Railways JSC as a research object three different ways to solve the problem were considered: financial lease, change of depreciation method for purchased property and tax benefits leasing options. The benefits of using a non-linear depreciation method are shown especially. The methodology, numerical calculations examples and their results in monetary terms are given, and the amounts of cost reduction are determined.

Optimization of Empty Wagon Flows in the Formation of the Technical Work Plan for the Railway Network

At present, the Russian railway network is experiencing a shortage of throughput capacity. At the same time, for a number of reasons, the direction of empty cars for loading is not always performed optimally, which leads to the presence of empty runs of cars of the same type and additional loading of limiting railway infrastructure facilities. In order to improve the rationality of empty wagon direction, it is proposed to calculate the optimal empty wagon directions at the stage of calculation of technical standards of operational work with their subsequent use in operational management and creation of economic incentives for their implementation.

Assessment of External Factors Influence on the Fuel Consumption of a Diesel Bus Operating on a City Route

The work is devoted to the study of factors causing fuel consumption norm increase of the MAZ-103465 diesel bus, which was operated in the urban environment. It has been established that the greatest increase in fuel consumption is caused by natural-climatic and transport conditions. It was found that the influence of external factors causes an increase in the fuel consumption norm by 18-74%. In economic terms, the cost of purchasing fuel increases by 357-1479 rubles per 100 km. Also, an increase in diesel fuel consumption leads to a deterioration in the environmental situation, especially relevant for large cities.
