      <description><![CDATA[The paper discusses the use of black box technology in automobiles to provide better road safety, better road design, and less insurance frauds.  The box is an open thin cylinder that runs the QNX real time operating system.  The computing power comes through an ARM9 core with data transferred to the outside world through a gsm radio modem.  The paper recommends the use of vehicle telematics technology to make the cars smarter for road safety.]]></description>
