In response to these findings, as well as pressure from non-governmental organizations and the public, provincial and federal authorities in Chubut moved the commercial tanker lanes 20 nautical miles farther offshore in 1997 and required oil tankers to have double hulls. During a second round of surveys in 2001, using most of the same sites as the first survey period, the number of dead and oiled penguins dropped effectively to zero. A policy change not only led to fewer oiled penguins, but also likely increased the survival of adult Magellanic penguins near some of their most significant breeding colonies in Argentina.]]> Mon, 25 Sep 2023 14:46:43 GMT https://trid.trb.org/View/2206646 Compliance and Accountability: Evidence from a Field Experiment in Argentina https://trid.trb.org/View/2213775 Thu, 24 Aug 2023 09:32:43 GMT https://trid.trb.org/View/2213775 Enhanced port-city interface through infrastructure investment: evidence from Buenos Aires https://trid.trb.org/View/2201894 Fri, 28 Jul 2023 08:35:56 GMT https://trid.trb.org/View/2201894 Public transport demand estimation by frequency adjustments https://trid.trb.org/View/2173763 Mon, 05 Jun 2023 11:35:31 GMT https://trid.trb.org/View/2173763 Traffic congestion in Buenos Aires: diagnosis and public policy recommendations for a more sustainable city https://trid.trb.org/View/2121968 Wed, 26 Apr 2023 16:51:28 GMT https://trid.trb.org/View/2121968 Translation and adaptation of the family climate for road safety scale to a Spanish speaking population using confirmatory factor analysis and exploratory structural equational modeling https://trid.trb.org/View/2147196 Mon, 24 Apr 2023 11:29:03 GMT https://trid.trb.org/View/2147196 Civil aviation emissions in Argentina https://trid.trb.org/View/2103198 Thu, 23 Feb 2023 09:31:10 GMT https://trid.trb.org/View/2103198 Means-Tested Transit Subsidies in Latin America https://trid.trb.org/View/2062489 Mon, 19 Dec 2022 11:05:10 GMT https://trid.trb.org/View/2062489 Identification of cycle lane priorities based on observed and potential cyclist trips using GIS, the case of the Metropolitan Area of Mendoza, Argentina https://trid.trb.org/View/2072085 Fri, 16 Dec 2022 17:08:32 GMT https://trid.trb.org/View/2072085 Estimating the Effect of Urban Road Congestion on Air Quality in Latin America https://trid.trb.org/View/2062488 Thu, 15 Dec 2022 14:15:18 GMT https://trid.trb.org/View/2062488
