Damit lassen sich grosse Hohlraumgehalte fuer eine hohe laermtechnische Wirksamkeit erzielen und die geforderte akustische Dauerhaftigkeit der Deckschicht sicherstellen. Aus bautechnischer Sicht koennen jedoch Probleme wie unzureichende Haltbarkeit und Prozesssicherheit auftreten. Im Rahmen einer Laboruntersuchung erarbeitete ein Expertengremium des Deutschen Asphaltverbandes Vorschlaege fuer eine modifizierte Zusammensetzung des Asphaltmischguts. Diese veraenderte Asphaltmischgutkonzeption mit einer bewussten Dosierung von 5 % feiner Gesteinskoernung (< 2mm) soll auf dem duraBASt einer Praxiserprobung unterzogen werden. Zwei verschiedene Mischgutzusammensetzungen mit einem Groesstkorn von 8 mm kommen unter industriellen Bedingungen zur Anwendung. Ziel ist es, die zielsichere Herstellung und das Verhalten beim Einbau des optimierten Mischguts zu pruefen und die sich dabei ergebenden Eigenschaften der eingebauten fertigen Schicht zu erfassen und zu analysieren. ABSTRACT IN ENGLISH: Porous asphalt wearing courses are used in Germany to reduce the tyre/carriageway noise directly at the point of creation – the road surface. The asphalt mix required for this is currently manufactured from a coarse aggregate (> 2 mm), filler and polymer-modified bitumen as binder, dispensing with a fine aggregate. These enable large void contents for a high degree of noise efficiency to be achieved and ensure the required acoustic durability of the wearing course. From a structural point of view, however, problems such as insufficient durability and process reliability can arise. In the course of a laboratory examination, a body of experts from the German Asphalt Association (Deutscher Asphaltverband) prepared proposals for a modified composition of the asphalt mix. This altered asphalt mix concept with a conscious addition of 5 % fine aggregate (< 2mm) is to be subjected to practical testing on the duraBASt. Two different compositions of the mix with a maximum aggregate size of 8 mm will be deployed under industrial conditions.
