Respondents assessed their aircraft noise-induced overall annoyance as well as their night-time annoyance using the verbal 5-point ICBEN scale. The Ldn explained 16.5% of variance in the annoyance ratings. The inclusion of non-acoustical variables into the regression model increased the proportion of explained variance to 54.8%. Annoyance prevalence rates at CGN were higher than predicted by the EU-standard curve and the Lt was lower than predicted by recent work. For a LRC airport, the community around CGN shows an uncommonly high percentage of highly annoyed residents and a low tolerance to aircraft noise exposure. Non-acoustical factors including personal and situational factors seem to have substantial impact on annoyance.]]> Wed, 11 Apr 2018 11:37:03 GMT https://trid.trb.org/View/1503251 Tolerance and Indifference Bands in Regret–Rejoice Choice Models: Extension to Market Segmentation in the Context of Mode Choice Behavior https://trid.trb.org/View/1494550 Fri, 16 Mar 2018 09:51:05 GMT https://trid.trb.org/View/1494550 Tolerance threshold of commuting time: Evidence from Kunming, China https://trid.trb.org/View/1436062 Wed, 21 Dec 2016 11:34:35 GMT https://trid.trb.org/View/1436062 Effects of noise exposure of other people on aircraft noise tolerability using a reference point approach https://trid.trb.org/View/1424063 Fri, 21 Oct 2016 16:32:32 GMT https://trid.trb.org/View/1424063 Train delay and perceived-wait time: passengers' perspective https://trid.trb.org/View/1334706 Fri, 02 Jan 2015 10:07:47 GMT https://trid.trb.org/View/1334706 The application of regression analysis on users' tolerance to prolonged waiting times: the case of KTM Komuter Services of Malaysia https://trid.trb.org/View/1254107 Thu, 18 Jul 2013 13:47:32 GMT https://trid.trb.org/View/1254107 Characteristics of Pilots Who Report Deliberate Versus Inadvertent Visual Flight into Instrument Meteorological Conditions https://trid.trb.org/View/1131483 Tue, 20 Mar 2012 12:18:12 GMT https://trid.trb.org/View/1131483 Wisconsin Winter Ride Survey Report https://trid.trb.org/View/1132654 Fri, 24 Feb 2012 13:20:37 GMT https://trid.trb.org/View/1132654 Understanding and managing anti-social behaviour on public transport through value change: The considerate travel campaign https://trid.trb.org/View/1083931 Fri, 14 Jan 2011 10:19:55 GMT https://trid.trb.org/View/1083931 Risk tolerance and pilot involvement in hazardous events and flight into adverse weather https://trid.trb.org/View/871573 Tue, 21 Oct 2008 08:48:30 GMT https://trid.trb.org/View/871573 Generalised Linear Modelling of Crashes and Injury Severity in the Context of the Speed-Related Initiatives in Victoria during 2000-2002 https://trid.trb.org/View/836034 Fri, 28 Sep 2007 08:01:13 GMT https://trid.trb.org/View/836034
