This is the first cross-sectional study to highlight the plight of traffic policemen in the NCT of Delhi. The influence of factors such as body mass index (BMI), age, habits (smoking and alcohol consumption) and service duration on disease prevalence was assessed among traffic policemen using statistical tests. The service duration was found to be the most important determinant compared with other influencing factors such as BMI and age, which significantly (p=0.02) affects the health of traffic policemen in the present study. A number of potential measures for improving the health conditions of traffic policemen are also discussed.]]> Mon, 19 Jun 2017 09:34:30 GMT https://trid.trb.org/View/1467689 Evaluation of Law Enforcement Effectiveness in Directing Traffic Operations for Major Special Events: Clemson University Football Game Day Experience https://trid.trb.org/View/1439031 Mon, 13 Mar 2017 09:12:28 GMT https://trid.trb.org/View/1439031 Methodology for Simulating Manual Traffic Control https://trid.trb.org/View/1416919 Wed, 20 Jul 2016 09:05:05 GMT https://trid.trb.org/View/1416919 Manual Traffic Control for Planned Special Events and Emergencies https://trid.trb.org/View/1397179 Thu, 18 Feb 2016 09:26:55 GMT https://trid.trb.org/View/1397179 Closed-Course Evaluation of Stop Paddles with Embedded Lights https://trid.trb.org/View/1129263 Thu, 29 Mar 2012 07:14:54 GMT https://trid.trb.org/View/1129263 Factors Influencing Location of Police Traffic Control Points During Emergencies https://trid.trb.org/View/1130700 Tue, 21 Feb 2012 10:06:03 GMT https://trid.trb.org/View/1130700 Parents' Knowledge and Attitudes About Preventing Injuries in Motor Vehicle Accidents in Children in Greece https://trid.trb.org/View/859075 Wed, 21 May 2008 11:42:22 GMT https://trid.trb.org/View/859075 NOISE EXPOSURE AND HEARING LOSS AMONG THE TRAFFIC POLICEMEN WORKING AT BUSY STREETS OF JALGAON URBAN CENTRE https://trid.trb.org/View/748723 Mon, 31 Jan 2005 00:00:00 GMT https://trid.trb.org/View/748723
