Moreover, fiber optic cables are lighter than the latter and easier to handle, enabling to precisely co- locate ERT and SRT sensors, which avoids inevitable positioning errors and imprecision in complicated environments such as small boats. The last aspect relates to the interference of ERT measurements with traditional hydrophones cables, requiring electrical and seismic acquisitions to be performed at different times. DAS technology allows acquiring the geophysical techniques simultaneously, reducing survey time and operational costs. The project goal is to continue developing DAS surveys in shallow-water pre-investigations, finetuning and optimizing DAS applications with the aim of incorporating seismic (SRT and SW) and electrical (ERT) measurements in a single instrument set-up.]]> Mon, 16 Oct 2023 09:26:06 GMT https://trid.trb.org/View/2269687 A New 1D2D Optical Array Particle Imaging Probe for Airborne and Ground Simulation Cloud Measurements https://trid.trb.org/View/2212860 Fri, 14 Jul 2023 11:23:19 GMT https://trid.trb.org/View/2212860 Fiber Optic Sensor for Crank Angle Resolved Measurements of Burned Gas Residual Fraction in the Cylinder of an SI Engine https://trid.trb.org/View/1790813 Thu, 22 Jun 2023 09:49:13 GMT https://trid.trb.org/View/1790813 Measuring Support Reactions in a Composite Model Bridge Using Distributed Fiber Optic Sensing https://trid.trb.org/View/2160948 Thu, 25 May 2023 17:41:07 GMT https://trid.trb.org/View/2160948
