      <description><![CDATA[GLASS SAMPLES HAVE BEEN PREPARED FROM THE GLASS AND CERAMIC FRACTION RESULTING FROM THE BLACK-CLAWSON SEPARATION PROCESS ON MUNICIPAL SOLID WASTES. A BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF A MUNICIPAL WASTE SEPARATION PROCESS, THE GLASS AND CERAMIC FRACTION AND THE RESULTING GLASSES IS PRESENTED. DENSE MEDIA SEPARATION HAS BEEN APPLIED TO GLASS AND CERAMIC FRACTION TO OBTAIN A PURE GLASS FRACTION. SUBSEQUENT MELTING TESTS USING THE PRRE GLASS FRACTION RESULTS IN A WELL- MELTED, SEED-FREE, LIGHT GREEN GLASS.
