OBRAS DE HORMIGONES CON FIBRAS

JOBS WITH CONCRETE AND FIBRES

En Espana desde el ano 1982 se comenzo a promover y a utilizar las fibras en general y las de acero en particular. Los avances tecnologicos como la investigacion de los ultimos anos, han permitido realizar obras en distintas aplicaciones quedando aun muchas posibilidades futuras. Este articulo consta de dos partes, la primera son unas breves, pero importantes consideraciones, a tener en cuenta, sobre las fibras de acero, respecto a su esbeltez, resistencia a traccion y forma, para determinar una dosificacion minima. En la segunda, se han considerado algunas de las obras mas representativas de las distintas aplicaciones (pavimentos, tuneles y otras aplicaciones) realizadas en la Comunidad Europea que esta en la vanguardia mundial de estas aplicaciones. (A). Resumen en ingles: Since 1982, teh fibres in general and the steel fibres in particular have been started to be promoted and used in Spain. The technological advances, as the research during the last years, have made it possible the use of different applications, and a lot of futures possibilities are still opened. This article is esplitted in two parts, the first one are brief but important considerations about steel fibres to take into account, as aspect-ratio, fibre tensile strenght and sahpe to determine a minimum dosage. The second part, takes into account some of the most representative works of different applications done in the European Community, wich it is in the worlwhile vanguard of this matter. (A).
