FABRICACION E IDENTIFICACION DE POLVOS MINERALES PARA ESTUDIO DE SU COMPORTAMIENTO EN ASTICOS ASFALTICOS

Se describe la preparacion (trituracion, molienda y homogeneizacion) e identificacion (caracterizacion geometrica, fisica y actividad en masticos) de polvos minerales de distinta naturaleza; y su comportamiento en masticos asfalticos fabricados con los mismos. Se comprueba que el polvo mineral de naturaleza dolomitica, tiene un comportamiento mas adecuado que el cemento, ampliamente empleado como polvo mineral de aportacion. Tambien se verifica que no es aconsejable el empleo del polvo procedente de machaqueo del vidrio. (A). Resumen en ingles: Preparation (crushing, grinding and homogenisation) and identification (geometrical and physical characterisation and activity in mastic) of different nature filler are described; their performances in mastic made with them is also studied. It is checked that dolomite filler has more suitable performance than cement, which is extensively used like added filler. It is verified that the use of filler from grinding glass is not advisable. (A)
