Structurally Reinforced Concrete Pavement for Airports
Pavimentos Estruturalmente Armados para Aeroportos
This paper intends to show the advantages of reinforced concrete pavement to airports, following the work developed by Anders Losberg and adapted to Brazilian’s conditions. It shows a retrospect of Losberg’s experiments and the advantages of using low thickness pavement, both technical and economical and mainly to preserve the natural sources of aggregates.
