Uma Alternativa Econômica Quanto Ao Dimensionamento De Pistas De Aeródromos

This paper proposes a discussion about the specifications for projects of airports pavements in Brazil. It provides recommendations of the relationship of width and thickness of the layers of pavement and the location of critical areas. The recommendations were done by proposal of a reduced project, taking into consideration previous researches. Comparisons of the cost of the track were also accomplished and projected with the current recommendations as well as with the reduced project proposed in this work. The project of the Sao Jose dos Campos Airport in Brazil is presented as an example.
