DYNAMIC DIAGNOSTIC OF THE TRACK SUBSTRUCTURE
The question of the track geometry stability influence upon trackbed layers and the ballast has not been answered yet. The article gives general information on the state of art and development in railway infrastructure diagnostic - continuous trackbed diagnostic with estimation of the lateral track resistance. A method for the continuous trackbed diagnostic using dynamic track stabilizers or ballast compactors is proposed. Dynamic path measurement is also described as the method for the comparison of new track and switch point components. The main fundamentals of the method for dynamic measurements and their appropriate evaluation are discussed. These principles are demonstrated by dynamic measurements carried out previously. For the covering abstract see ITRD E123713.
