SIDE COLLISION WARNING SYSTEM (SCWS) PERFORMANCE SPECIFICATIONS FOR A TRANSIT BUS
This performance specification is based on 2 1/2 years of work. The document provides a brief introduction to the project, followed by the performance specifications and explanatory text, and concluding with appendices to clarify and illustrate various aspects of the specifications. Performance specifications for side collision warning systems for transit buses define what data must be collected, the accuracy of the data, the functions of the algorithms, and the necessary outputs of the system in terms of signals, reliability, consistency and robustness.
