TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER CENTER OPERATIONS AND ACTIVITIES: STAKEHOLDER INVOLVEMENT
Stakeholder involvement in the activities of technology transfer (T2) centers is crucial to the sustainability of these centers. Available funding is not guaranteed by any particular entity, and there can be a host of stakeholders, both traditional and nontraditional, that need to be sensitized to the programs and goals of a center. This paper identifies a list of activities generally performed by T2 centers, elaborates on ways to identify stakeholders, describes strategic planning as it relates to stakeholder involvement, and details a progress reporting system.
