SENSING SYSTEMS FOR BRIDGES: AN ASSESSMENT OF THE STATE-OF-THE-ART
This paper provides an overview of some current efforts in the development and deployment of sensing systems for bridges. Challenges and opportunities associated with sensor networks and their effective deployment on bridges are examined, and a number of important conclusions are presented and discussed.
