REHABILITATION OF KELLOGG RAILROAD VIADUCT FOR THE CBD FREEWAY PROJECT IN WICHITA, KANSAS
The Kellogg railroad viaduct in Wichita, Kansas, two steel crossing several city streets and railroad tracks, required substantial modifications to the west end of the bridges to accommodate the construction of a new viaduct through the Citys Central Business District (CBD). These bridges were shortened and the profile grades raised to provide the required vertical clearance for the CBD viaduct. Both bridges were widened to provide for entrance and exit ramps.
