DOMESTIC AVIATION NETWORK ANALYSIS AND AVIATION POLICY SCENARIO
This paper proposes a model to analyze the impact on the domestic air passengers flow when a new airport is constructed. The domestic air passengers flow can be regarded as the resultant equilibrium of the airlines and the passenger in the transportation market. The model formulates the equilibrium based on so called as Stackelberg Problem. The model is applied to the domestic air market in Japan, and forecast the impact on the air passengers flow by the construction of the New Chubu International Airport under planning, and discusses the optimal service routes and service frequency by airlines, and the change of passengers flow.
