IOWA ROADSIDE CURRICULUM PROJECT - TRIAL EDITION
This document contains 29 roadside curriculum activities directed at grades 6-10. Each topic lists the activity title, a brief description of the activity, a learning objective, site, estimated time allotment, materials used, an exploration phase, a concept development phase, and an application phase. In addition, each activity includes a "For the Teacher" section containing further amplification of teaching strategies and helpful resources. Some topics covered include roadside erosion, roadside plants, wetlands, littering, weeds, mowing, and changes in a roadside over time.
