PAVEMENT EVALUATION AND DETERIORATION MODEL OF THE RUNWAY 12-30 OF BELGRADE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Respecting a recent international experience in the pavement evaluation and pavement management system some analysis of the pavement conditon data of the runway is carried out. The subject of the analysis was the central zone of the runway which has been constructed as a rigid pavement in 1962 and overlaid by asphalt concrete layers several times up to now. The results of data anlaysis on the central zone (11.25m left and right from the center line) are the simplified asphalt overlaid rigid pavement deterioration models in period 1986-1991 and the prediction models, developed by the Micro PAVER computer program (Pavement Family Analysis). The positive effect of the polyester mesh reinforcement used on a some mumber of runway sections in the final asphalt overlay is founded and shown in this paper.
