TIME AND TEMPERATURE DEPENDENT PROPERTIES OF ASPHALT CONCRETE MIXES TESTED AS HOLLOW CYLINDERS AND SUBJECTED TO DYNAMIC AXIAL AND SHEAR LOADS (WITH DISCUSSION)
This paper presents the results of dynamic frequency sweep tests on hollow cylindrical asphalt concrete specimens. The objectives of both the axial and shear frequency sweep test programs were to investigate the time and temperature dependent properties of asphalt concrete mixes and to examine the applicability of linear viscoelasticity to represent material response.
