CREATION AND UTILIZATION OF DATA BASE FOR DESIGN AND ANALYSIS OF CAVITATING SCREW PROPELLERS
This paper describes the methodology adopted for the creation and utilization of a database for computer aided design and analysis of cavitating propellers, using data from systematic model series tests, together with some computational procedures developed for solving a number of problems related to high-speed propellers. A significant part of the paper is devoted to the presentation of comparative propeller design examples for five different hull types. According to the author, the database and related computerized procedures have been successfully applied in the design of propellers for high speed craft.
