SHIP DECK MACHINERY: DESIGN FORCES, ARRANGEMENT AND EQUIPMENT
An extract is presented from a l984 report titled: "Mooring," a subproject in the Ship Operation of the Future R&D program of the Royal Norwegian Council for Scientific and Industrial Research. The first section of the extract consists of a glossary and the second of a deck machinery specification memorandum list. The next three sections, which comprise the main body of the extract, deal, respectively, with design forces and standard mooring pattern; deck machinery arrangement; and deck machinery equipment.
