ASYMPTOTIC AND VARIATIONAL METHODS APPLIED TO THE EVALUATION OF WAVE DRIFT FORCES
A highly important factor in the prediction of moored system dynamics is the availability of a precise and relatively simple computational scheme for evaluating slow-drift wave forces acting upon a body in irregular waves. The purpose of this paper is to present some techniques that can improve the efficiency of the computational scheme and lead to wave-drift coefficients.
