Prioritisation and finance forecast for repair and renewal of bridge and major culvert assets
The efficient use of Council’s limited funds in maintaining the structural integrity of bridge networks requires prioritising repair works for bridge and major culvert assets. A risk-based asset-profiling exercise has been undertaken to identify the priorities of bridges and major culverts. In addition, it is essential to predict the required long-term funding to ensure the bridge networks are sustainable. Moloney Model was adopted to predict the long-term funding required for bridges and major culverts.
