The evaluation of rural road and bridge improvements
This paper reports the further development of the Commonwealth Bureau of Roads models for the evaluation of rural road improvements (merri and surmerri). Several significant changes have been made in the model relationships and new models have been developed to evaluate rural bridge and level crossing improvements. The evaluation procedures have been integrated into a new programme rural, designed for use in the Australian roads survey 1969-74 (a).
