BRRI/TRRL Research Cooperation in Ghana
This paper describes how the Building and Road Research Institute (BRRI) and the overseas unit of the Transport and Road Research Laboratory (TRRL) are working together for a two year period on a program of national studies in Ghana. The paper examines the performance of the joint studies, and describes the advantages and drawbacks of cooperation for the participants. Drawing on current and earlier experiences it is concluded that certain aspects are important in permitting the cooperation to be successful.
