PUBLIC PRIVATE PARTNERSHIPS, THE ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES EXAMINED
The aim of this paper is to analyze the advantages and disadvantages of public private partnerships (PPPs), particularly in the infrastructure sector. After research and literature review, a questionnaire was sent out to different public and private operators, mainly in the United Kingdom and the Netherlands. The responses are cited in the paper. The paper's focus is on the economics of transport and logistics, and neither promotion or opposition to PPP.
