COMPARISON & ANALYSIS EFFECT OF VIBRATION CONTROL SLEEPER PAD ON GWE_MOK ELEVATED RAILWAY BRIDGE IN JEOLLA LINE
Even though railways are recognized as a very friendly environmental transportation than motor vehicle it still has environmental problems such as high noise level and vibration. In order to reduce vibration levels, their source and propagation must be prevented. The reduction of vehicle dynamic load can be best way of dealing with this problem. Decreasing the sleeper spring constant is another solution. In this paper, the effect of vibration reduction with a vibration absorber was investigated on the Jeolla line (south-west line of South Korea) and results are presented for sound and vibration measurements.
