STATUS OF MILLIMETER-WAVE MMICS AND THEIR APPLICATIONS IN JAPAN

This paper focuses on millimeter wave monolithic microwave integrated circuits (MMICs) and their applications to vehicles. It describes how a set of 76 GHz fully MMIC chips based on high electron mobility transistor (HEMT) integrated circuits was developed for car radar systems.
