PROPERTIES OF ASPHALT CEMENTS
This report deals with the findings of an evaluation of the low-temperature properties and the temperature susceptibility of asphalt cements. The differences in these properties of asphalt cements are often blamed for the inferior behavior of pavement. It is hoped that agencies writing specifications will consider the published data, and that this will lead to acceptance of more uniform and fewer specifications for asphalt cements.
