GIS-BASED PUBLIC TRANSIT PASSENGER ROUTE CHOICE MODEL
Public transit route choice model is the key technology of transit passenger information system. A GIS-based public transit route choice model is presented in this paper. It is based on a new shortest path algorithm which uses the least transfer times as primary object and shortest path distance as second object. Application in Nanjing public transit network shows that it is efficient and practical.
