SAFETY ANALYSIS OF VEHICLE-BASED SYSTEMS
This article describes guidelines that are being prepared which will focus on software designed for the safety analysis of vehicle-based systems. Topics will include: system analysis, hazard identification hazard analysis, identification of safety integrity levels, and applications of failure mode, effects analysis, and fault tree analysis.
