THE POSSIBILITIES OF ROAD TELEMATICS IMPLEMENTATION IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC
In this paper, the current and expected future situation regarding the road transport network in the Czech Republic is examined and discussed. Special focus is devoted to the application of road telematics technology, which seems to be the key to successfully dealing with and solving the ever-increasing transportation requirements and mobility needs of the region's travelers who wish to utilize the Czech Republic's geographic location as a natural conduit between European Union countries and Eastern European countries.
