STUDY INTO DEEP WATER TENSION RAFT JACKET
The article describes a tension raft jacket design which employs a conventional fixed platform supported by a deeply submerged buoyant concrete raft, fixed to the sea bottom by vertically tensioned tendons. Primary benefits include simplicity of design, lower capital costs and shorter developments schedules.
