DEVELOPMENT OF A JOINING METHOD FOR CONCRETE OFFSHORE STRUCTURES AFLOAT
In this method the floating concrete structures are pulled and joined and the joint part is filled with concrete. This provides a safe, watertight and accurate joint, of sufficient strength. Experiments were carried out curing concrete under cyclic load, which simulates wave-induced load, and also by FEM analysis to confirm the watertightness of the concrete.
