RIGID PIPE PROOF TESTING UNDER EXCESS OVERFILLS WITH VARYING BACKFILL PARAMETERS: SECTION V (VOLUME 12) - NEUTRAL POINT ANALYSIS, P/S PIPE, EXPERIMENTAL VERIFICATION
The neutral point program described in Section V, Volume II, was used in conjunction with field data from a heavily instrumented, 96-in. (2438-mm), prestressed concrete pipe at Cross Canyon. Correlations between quasi-theoretical and measured moments and displacements were better than observed previously when the soil stresses from the Cambridge stressmeters were used, but were not as good for the Carlson meter stresses.
