Verification of the Effects of Individualized Information Provision Services on Existing Onboard Devices
This paper gives an overview of individualized information provision services, then describes the use of a basic experimental system to investigate constraints on such services, and reports the results. Based on the discovered constraints, the authors perform verification tests to investigate the effects on existing on-board devices of individualized information provision services and broadcast delivery to dedicated onboard devices. Results showed a high probability that use of the simplified method would allow individualized information provision without the need for establishing special operational rules.
