STABILIZATION OF SOIL WITH CEMENT AND BITUMEN BINDERS AND SAND AND WATER WITH THE D-396 AND D-445 ROAD CUTTERS (IN RUSSIAN)
PERFORMANCE TESTS OF SOIL STABILIZATION PLANT PRODUCED IN THE U.S.S.R. WERE CARRIED OUT DURING CONSTRUCTION WORK. THE RESULTS ARE DISCUSSED AND THREE GRAPHS ARE PRESENTED WHICH RELATE NUMBER OF PASSES TO MAXIMUM DISTRIBUTION OF CEMENT, BITUMEN AND WATER RESPECTIVELY IN THE SOIL WORKED. RECOMMENDATIONS ARE MADE FOR CHOICE OF BLADE ANGLE ACCORDING TO TYPE AND CONDITION OF SOIL.
