Hazard at roundabout
The change from a roundabout to a signalised channeled intersection has resulted in a real reduction to single vehicle hit object type accidents. However it does appear that the risk of injury accident has also been reduced. There is no significant evidence that the average severity of accidents has been increased, although this cannot be discounted without closer analysis.
