Intelligent infrastructure futures technology forward look

The foresight project on intelligent infrastructure systems explores how science and technology could, over the next 50 years, be used to deliver infrastructure for transport, and its alternatives, that would be sustainable, robust and safe. Economic, environmental and social sustainability were considered. State of the art reviews that set out what research might deliver was used to plan a set of scenarios that give a picture of the technology that could be adopted and how society might react to those technologies.
